[Also in Division F2] A door closer 15, e.g. in a door lintel 11, having a closer shaft 16 is coupled to a door having an upper member 13 by means of a linkage arm 19 connected to the door and having a recess which is closed by a bridge member 28 which non-rotatably retains the closer shaft 16 therein; the bridge member cooperates only with the upper part of the arm. A pressure screw 25 mounted to a support plate 20 for the arm 19 cooperates with a U-shaped slot in the arm 19 for adjusting the arms position relative to the door in a direction parallel to its width. The arm may be angularly adjusted by screws 22 cooperating with raised edges 21 of the plate 20. A locking screw 27 may be provided. The arm may be stepped at the closer shaft 16 end as shown. |
