<p>A flexible stabilization device for dynamic stabilization of bones or vertebrae is provided comprising a rod construct (20) including a rod (20) made of an elastomeric material the rod having a first connection section (20a), a second connection section (20b) and a third section (20c) therebetween, the first and second connection sections (20a, 20b) being connectable with a bone anchoring device, respectively, and a sleeve (40) provided on at least a portion of the third section (20c) of the rod such that at least the first and second connection sections (20a, 20b) are exposed.
