Use of baffles for the reduction of noises and oscillations during the emptying of silos

The silo is made from vibration-prone sheet metal, especially cold-rolled sheet steel with a thickness of 5 - 6 mm. It has a ratio of height:diameter of 2.6 -3. Noise is reduced when emptying bulk goods from the silo by storing them in zones (16 - 18) separated by compression zones (7). An independent claim is included for a method for reducing noise when emptying bulk goods from silos using the system described.
