Process for coating graphite foils

The coating process enables a thin coating to be applied to the front side (1a) and the edge surfaces (1b) of a flat picture composed of graphite foil (1). This is done by spraying the powder on, followed by a sintering or melting cycle for the sprayed-on powder. On a limited surface at least 5 mm from the edges, contact is made with the reverse side facing away from the spray device.
