METHOD OF EXECUTING FAST APPLICATION IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

A method for rapidly executing an application in a mobile communication terminal is provided to minimize the movement of fingers and to increase user convenience by enabling a user to perform one key operation while holding the mobile communication terminal by one hand. A method for rapidly executing an application in a mobile communication terminal comprises the following several steps. The mobile communication terminal checks whether a user pushes a hot key on its side for executing a specific application in a standby state(700,705). In case that the user pushes the hot key for a period shorter than a preset time, the mobile communication terminal displays a list of menus related to the specific application(715). In case that the user pushes the hot key on a destination menu among the displayed list of menus, the mobile communication terminal displays a screen in accordance with execution of the destination menu(730,735,740).
