摘要 A selective hydrogenation method using a sulfurized catalyst is provided to secure good stability of the catalyst by regulating blending of the catalyst, to secure excellent selectivity for diolefin hydrogenation, and to obtain good activity in converting mercaptan and light sulfur-containing compounds. The selective hydrogenation method converts saturated light sulfur-containing compounds into heavy compounds through the reaction between the saturated light sulfur-containing compound and unsaturated compound included in gasoline and selectively hydrogenates the polyunsaturated compounds into monounsaturated compounds at the same time, and utilizes a catalyst attached on a holder. The catalyst consists of at least one metal of a VIB group and nonvaluable metal of a VIII group. The content weight of oxides of an element included in the VIB group is strictly over 12wt.%. The content weight of oxides of an element included in the VIII group is below 15wt.%. The degree of vulcanization of metal in the catalyst is over 60%. The metals of the VIII and VIB groups are within a range of 0.2~0.5mol/mol. The catalyst contains the metal of the VIB group selected from molybdenum and tungsten.
