A door lock device is provided to release locking of a door by rotating a handle in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction correspondingly to the opening and closing direction of the door. A door lock device(100) is composed of a dead bolt(10) moving in a direction of being projected from or inserted into a door and locking and unlocking the door; a handle(20) installed in the door to rotate for the door; and a panic unit releasing locking of the door by moving the dead bolt in the insertion direction when the handle is turned in one direction, and holding a release state of the door by preventing the dead bolt from moving when the handle is turned in the opposite direction.
