摘要 A metal powder production apparatus comprising a heat insulating means for cutting off radiant heat emitted from molten metal passing through a flow path, which can maintain a flow rate of a fluid injected from the orifice almost constantly in a reliable manner, is provided. A metal powder production apparatus(1A) comprises: a supply part for supplying molten metal(Q); a nozzle(3) installed under the supply part, wherein the nozzle has a flow path(31,32) formed by an inner peripheral surface of the nozzle through which the molten metal supplied from the supply part can pass, and which has a gradually reducing inner diameter portion(33) such that inner diameter of the gradually reducing inner diameter portion is gradually reduced in a downward direction, an orifice(34) which is opened at a bottom part of the flow path and is suitable for injecting a fluid toward the flow path, a retention part(35) for provisionally retaining the fluid, and an introduction path(36) for introducing the fluid from the retention part to the orifice, the nozzle including a first member(4) having the gradually reducing inner diameter portion and a second member(5) installed under the first member with a gap(37) formed between the first member and the second member, and wherein the orifice, the retention part and the introduction path are formed by the first member and the second member; and a heat insulating means(6) for cutting off radiant heat emitted from the molten metal passing through the flow path, wherein the heat insulating means is installed on or in the first member, and the orifice can be restrained from being expanded by pressure of the fluid passing through the orifice.
