A flat display device and a fabricating thereof are provided to prevent short circuit between a conductor and an opposite electrode by forming a capping layer on the conductor. A pixel electrode(131) is partially exposed by an insulation layer having an opening(121). A conductor(140) is formed on the insulation layer, and a capping layer(150) is formed on the conductor. At least one plasma processed region(155) is formed in an interface between the insulation layer and the capping layer and an interface between the conductor and the capping layer. The exposed portion of the pixel electrode is covered by a light emitting layer(132), and an opposite electrode(133) is formed on the light emitting layer, and is isolated from the pixel electrode. |
