The wound-healing powder composition comprises polymethyl siloxan, the superfine silicon dioxide, and miramistine. Due to the balance of the hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties, the composition possessed the wide range of the absorption capacity allowing for the absorption of the toxic wound metabolites such as proteins, polypeptides, bacterial enzymes, antigens, medium- and low molecular substances, and other decay products. Miramistine provides for moistening hydrophobic polymethyl siloxan. At the same time, Miramistine is antibacterial agent. The composition possesses the sufficient osmotic capacity allowing for the rapid elimination of edema. The composition is intended for treating the infected surgical wounds in the first stage of the wound evolution (postoperative suppuration, phlegmons, abscesses, furuncles, etc.) and for treating the bedsores and the trophic ulcers.
