An evaporator of a refrigerator is provided to remove moisture from air and lower temperature by a first evaporator and carry out heat exchange of high efficiency by a second heat exchanger. An evaporator of a refrigerator includes a first evaporator(110) mounted at an air inlet part for lowering humidity and temperature of introduced air, and a second evaporator(120) mounted with a predetermined distance from the first evaporator for carrying out heat exchange for the air passing through the first evaporator to generate chilled air. A defrosting heater(130) is mounted between the first and second evaporators. The length of a refrigerant pipe(140) of the first evaporator is shorter than that of the second evaporator, so that an amount of air carrying out heat exchange with the first evaporator is smaller than that of the second evaporator. The first evaporator has heating fins(150) arranged with an interval larger than that of the second evaporator, wherein the heating fins of the second evaporator are arranged with an interval increasing toward the defrosting heater. |
