A method for manufacturing an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and an LCD manufactured by the same are provided to improve manufacturing productivity of the LCD and reduce a limitation in design by electrically connecting display panels through a conductive balls harder than an alignment layer. A first display panel(100) including a first electric-field generating electrode and a transfer electrode(190), and a second display panel(200) including a second electric-field generating electrode are provided. A conductive ball(500) is formed on at least one of the transfer electrode of the first display panel and the second electric-field generating electrode of the second display panel. A first alignment layer(410) and a second alignment layer(420) are formed on the first display panel and/or the second display panel where the conductive ball is formed. The first and second display panels are bonded to each other to burst the first and second alignment layers by the conductive ball, so that the conductive ball come in contact with the transfer electrode and the second electric-field generating electrode. |
