A method for minerals dressing, including zircon-rutile-ilmenite ores includes separation of the mineral into ore concentrate and tailings, arrangement of the latter in tailings dumps. Prior to the arrangement in the tailings dump, the tailings are forwarded into the jet sump, where they are divided into clay and sandy fractions. The sandy fraction is placed in the tailings dump, and the clay fraction is forwarded into the thickener of paste, with possibility of obtaining the content of clay 40-48%. The condensed clay is filtered up to obtaining the humidity of 60-80% and dried up to final humidity of 4-20%, and obtained clarified water is supplied into the cycle of return water supply.
