A grooving machine for forming doze prevention grooves on a road is provided to shorten working hours and to increase work efficiency by forming grooves quickly and intermittently by lifting up and down a rotary drum automatically. The grooving machine(100) for forming doze prevention grooves on a road contains a main body(20) equipped with a power supply device, a steering device(30) installed on the lower front of the main body and composed of a front wheel and a handle, a rotary drum(40) installed on the rear of the main body and composed of many blades(42) to form grooves on a road, a lifting device(50) installed to one side of the rotary drum to lift up and down the rotary drum vertically, and a rear wheel(110) formed in a polygonal shape to support the rotary drum while rolling.
