TECHNIQUE FOR SUBAPONEUROTIC HERNIOPLASTY USING MESH TRANSPLANT

摘要

The technique for subaponeurotic hernioplasty using the mesh transplant comprises the fixation of the mesh transplant to the aponeurosis on the side of the peritoneal cavity. Prior to the fixation of the transplant the greater omentum is fixed to the peritoneum around the hernial defect. The mesh transplant is laid over the omentum with its direct fixation to the peritoneum, the aponeurosis being involved into the suture. The hernioplasty is performed with the adjacent tissues above the mesh.
