METHOD OF CONTROLLING SIZE OF COMMON FLY POPULATIONS IN VEGETABLE PLANTATIONS

A method for controlling the size of common fly populations in vegetable plantations includes direct control. Artificial settling of the predatory and parasitic species of rove beetle (Aleochara bilineata Gybl.) onto plants is carried out in two terms: at the beginning of mass egg laying of the flies and in 8-9 days. In addition, in the next 10-12 days a mixture of tobacco dust and ash in a ratio of 1:1 is applied into the root system area in two steps with an interval of 9-10 days.
