The proposed method for determining the efficiency of treating arterial hypertension by bisoprolol consists in determining the content of fatty acids in the lipids of the kidney tissues and brain tissues of the experiment6al rat by gas-liquid chromatography, determining the change of the contents ofpalmitic, stearic, oleic, and arachidonic fatty acids before the treatment and after the treatment for three months, comparing the actual data with the reference data, and using the comparison results for determining the efficiency of the treatment.
