The invention concerns mainly a friction element for disc brake comprising a support plate whereon is fixed a friction material designed to be urged into contact with a first surface of a brake disc. The friction element also comprises an elastic element for returning said friction element to its rest position, said elastic element including a spiral winding wherefrom extend first and second arms (30, 32) differing in length and designed to be urged into elastic pressure against a roof of a caliper of the disc brake. The spiral winding is mounted in an orifice provided in a radial projection of the support plate. The invention also concerns a disc brake comprising such a friction element. |
