A shield shell is provided to remove a cap and to be simply assembled by inserting a contact spring into a housing without using the cap within a short time. A shield shell includes a housing(12) and a contact spring mounted in the housing. The contact spring has first and second ends at opposite sides, and slots(57) formed long between the first and second ends, wherein both ends of the slots are closed. The housing has first and second holding parts(11,13) for holding the first and second ends of the contact spring to restrain deviation of the contact spring.
