A uniform heating apparatus of a microwave oven is provided to uniformly cook food by generating microwaves with phase difference at plural positions of the microwave oven. A uniform heating apparatus of a microwave oven includes microwave projection units(110,120) facing each other to project microwaves into a cooking chamber so that the microwaves are projected in the opposite directions. The microwave projection units include magnetrons(112,122) to generate microwaves, waveguides(114,124) to transmit the microwaves generated by the magnetrons, and microwave discharging holes(116,126) to project the microwaves transmitted through the waveguides into the cooking chamber(10). The microwave projection units are installed to face each other to project the microwaves to food such that two microwave projection units project the microwaves simultaneously or alternately at time interval. The microwave projection units project the microwaves at a phase difference of lambda/4. Thus, there is no place where electric field is weakened or stronger, so food is uniformly cooked.
