The vehicle has a lateral door (4) slidingly mounted with respect to a body shell (2) via a support/guiding assembly (6). The assembly has a carriage (7) sliding along a rail (5) and mounted on a swaying bar (9). A motor (11) access a differential (82) having output shafts (87, 89) with respective notched outlet pinions (871, 891). The pinion (871) is connected to a driving device to drive the bar in rotation around an axis (V9). The pinion (891) is connected to another driving device to slidingly drive the door with respect to the shell by sliding the carriage along the rail.
