<p>The method involves determining that a vehicle (80) is in movement, and simultaneously carrying out measurement of earth`s magnetic field (H) using two coils (131, 132) integrated to a wheel of a tire-wheel assembly (91). A phase difference of the measured magnetic field is determined, and a direction (120) of movement of the vehicle is determined. Vehicle`s side on which the tire-wheel assembly is present is determined from a sign of the phase difference and the direction of movement of the vehicle. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for identifying a location of a tire-wheel assembly (2) a tire-wheel assembly equipped with the identification device.</p> |
