A portable terminal is provided to more quickly and effectively achieving heat dissipation by widening a heat dissipation area by expanding a ground area formed on a printed circuit board as a pattern for minimizing heat transferred to the user. A portable terminal includes a terminal body(10), a printed circuit board(14), a ground pattern(20), and a heat dissipation area expanding part. The printed circuit board is disposed in the terminal body(10), in which heat dissipation devices are mounted on the printed circuit board. The ground pattern(20) is formed on the printed circuit board, and connected to the heat dissipation devices, thereby performing a heat dissipation operation. The heat dissipation area expanding part enlarges a heat dissipation area in the ground pattern. The heat dissipation area expanding part includes a plurality of embossing parts formed by protruding from the ground pattern with predetermined interval.
