An escalator for an overpass is provided to remarkably reduce traffic accidents by providing a convenience to a pedestrian and a driver. An escalator for an overpass includes a crosswalk bridge(10), an escalator section(20), and a cover section(30). The crosswalk bridge provides crossing of a pedestrian. The escalator section is docked to both ends of the crosswalk bridge. The escalator section continuously elevates a passenger to the crosswalk bridge or the ground by driving a step rotated by power. The cover section extends from a side surface of the escalator upward to protect the pedestrian from rain, wind, and the sunlight.
