A display device is provided to enable a user to smoothly use an input device by informing the user of battery information, and making the user charge or replace a battery of an input device. The input device generates a position signal on a display part(120). A sensor part(127) receives the position signal generated from the input device. A controller(150) displays an information message if intensity of the position signal received from the sensor is lower than a normal level, and displays a warning message if not. An OSD(On Screen Display) part(180) displays the message output from the controller. The controller includes the second controller(160) for generating and outputting position data of the input device by receiving the signal from the sensor. The position signal is at least one of an ultrasonic signal and an infrared signal generated from the input device.
