A crosslinkable organosilicon composition is provided to be easily prepared, have excellent suitability as a sealing composition, high resistance against deformation, very good handling properties during application and excellent usage properties in a wide variety of applications, show very high storage stability and high crosslinking rate, and discharge small amount of string during application. The crosslinkable composition based on an organosilicon compound comprises at least one of a compound represented by the formula(III) of H(OCH2CH2)n(OCHCH3CH2)p(OCH2CH2)mOH and/or a reaction product of a hydrolytic organosilicon compound thereof. In the formula(III), n is an integer from 1 to 30, m is an integer from 0 to 30, wherein the sum of the n and m is larger than 5, and p is 1, 2, or 3. The crosslinkable composition is a condensation crosslinkable composition and comprises (A) at least one organosilicon compound having at least two condensable groups, (B) at least one compound of the formula(III), a reaction product thereof with hydrolyzable organosilicon compound(s) or a mixture thereof, and (C) a crosslinking agent.
