A catalyst converter of swirl flow type is provided to install the catalyst converter close to an exhaust port for quickly activating a catalyst by using an exhaust gas of high temperature. A catalyst converter of swirl flow type includes a manifold(4), a first exhaust pipe(3a), and second exhaust pipes(3b,3c,3d). The first exhaust pipe are elongated from the exhaust manifold, connects to a center of a cross section of manifold side of the catalyst converter, and induces a line flow of exhaust gas by using the catalyst in the catalyst converter. The second exhaust pipe are elongated from the exhaust manifold, connects to an external surface of the catalyst converter with a prescribed inclination angle, and induces a swirl flow of the exhaust gas through the catalyst in the catalyst converter.
