A structure for changing the door opening/closing direction of a drum type washing machine is provided to allow both an installer and a consumer to change the door opening/closing direction promptly. A structure for changing the door opening/closing direction of a drum type washing machine includes a front body, a door hinge block(12), a door(20), and a door lock block(22). The front body is opened so as to expose a washing tub. A pair of symmetrical coupling groove is formed on corresponding surfaces of the door. The door hinge block is detachably engaged with one of the coupling groove. The door is hinge-coupled to the door hinge block to open and close the washing tub. The door lock block is detachably installed in the other of the coupling groove to lock the door. |
