Leather with uneven patterns and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to express clear and cubical patterns by printing the patterns on the thin plate leather in block or white color and pressing the plate leather after overlapping the patterns of the plate leather on a copper plate. Plate leather(10) is produced by stretching leather for industrial art containing no oil. Patterns(11) such as desirable paintings, pictures, figures, and masterpieces are printed on the surface of the plate leather. And then, the leather is obtained by bonding reinforcing leather on the back side of the plate leather. A film sheet printed with a pattern is made by filming the pattern expressed on the surface of the plate leather. Uneven patterns are formed on a copper plate by overlapping the film sheet on the copper plate and then corroding the film sheet. The uneven pattern of the copper plate and the pattern printed on the plate leather match to each other by overlapping the pattern of the plate leather on the uneven pattern of the copper plate. The pattern of the plate leather is rugged by pressing the plate leather and the copper plate.
