The method involves converting a program flow from a source into a transportation flow, and transmitting the transportation flow to a digital video broadcast decoder through a telecommunication network. Interaction controls are received from the user through the network and processed in relation with an interactivity information file of the source for controlling the transport flow transmitted through the network. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a service platform for supplying a multimedia service on demand from multimedia data source (2) a computer program comprising instructions for controlling steps of a multimedia service supplying method (3) a digital TV decoder adapted to implement multimedia service supplying method.
