A variable pulley type power steering oil pump is provided to improve the fuel ratio by interrupting a drive shaft of a pump from a pulley when a vehicle is not steered. A variable pulley type power steering oil pump includes a pulley(4), a magnetic clutch(6), a rotor. The rotor is pumped by the magnetic clutch. The pulley is installed on a drive shaft. The magnetic clutch is installed on one side of the pulley to interrupt the drive shaft according to the RMP of an engine and an operation condition. The oil pump includes a shell type shaft(12), a shell type slide gear section(14), and an electromagnet(18). The shell type shaft is supported by a bearing on the drive shaft to rotate the rotor of the pump. The shell type slide gear section is slides the shell shaft axially. The electromagnet is installed in the magnetic clutch to pull the shell slide gear according to a signal of an electronic control unit.
