A diesel particulate filter of a diesel vehicle is provided to operate a heater regardless of the presence of an engine controller to burn particles, thereby necessitating no additional device and design. A diesel particulate filter of a diesel vehicle includes a filter(10) to filter particles contained in exhaust gas, a detecting terminal(20) installed in the filter, a heater(30) installed in the filter, a power supply(40) to operate the heater, a relay(50) connected between the heater and the power supply, and a delay relay(60) connected between the relay and the detecting terminal. The filter is made in the form of a honeycomb having a plurality of cells formed in the vertical direction. A part of the cells are media for filtering the particles and the rest are passages to allow the filtered exhaust gas. Each of the media and the passages has a closed end. Preferably, each of the media has an end closed by a plug where the exhaust gas is exhausted, and each of the passages has an end closed by a plug where the exhaust is introduced.
