A method for driving a motor for a rinse efficiency of a drum type washing machine is provided to discharge the detergent remaining in laundry maximally by driving motor at high speed RPM during a washing course, thereby improving the rinse efficiency with a minimum amount of water used and a minimum rinsing number. A method for driving a motor for a rinse efficiency of a drum type washing machine includes the step of: driving a motor at a low RPM if the rinse process of the drum washing machine is started(S1), and driving the motor at a high RPM to separate the detergent remaining in the laundry before the rinse process(S2). The detergent separated from the laundry is resolved in the water and is discharged outside the drum in a discharge process(S4). |
