An output signal detecting device for electric parts of a vehicle is provided to detect a battery short by monitoring potential difference between drain and source sides of a transistor while the transistor is turned on, and to detect a ground short on the basis of the magnitude of output voltage of the transistor while the transistor is turned off. An output signal detecting device for electric parts(load) of a vehicle is composed of a transistor(TR1) switched according to a control signal supplied from the outside, to output an output signal between drain and source sides; a distributor(20) having first and second resistors(R1,R2) and distributing the output signal of the transistor; a filter(30) comprising a third resistor(R3) and a capacitor(C) and filtering the output signal of the distributor; and a microprocessor(10) for generating the control signal and judging an electrical error of the electric parts by converting the output signal of the filter into a digital signal. |
