<p>A drain water bacteriostatic structure for an air conditioner, having a drain pan (8) for containing drain water occurring in the air conditioner (1) and an antibacterial member (50) stood in the drain pan (8). The antibacterial member (50) has an antibacterial agent (50B). The vertical length L3 of the antibacterial member (50) is set such that, when the drain water in the drain pan (8) is at a minimum water level L1, a lower end section (50a) of the antibacterial member (50) is immersed in the drain water and an upper end section (50b) of the antibacterial member (50) is exposed by not less than a predetermined length H from a maximum water level L2 of the drain water in the drain pan (8).</p> |
