An apparatus and method for automatic classification of contaminated organic solvent using an infrared spectrometer are provided to measure a contamination level of the organic solvent by detecting spectrum characteristics of the organic solvent. An apparatus for automatic classification of contaminated organic solvent using an infrared spectrometer includes a constant pressure pump(10), a constant temperature chamber(20), an infrared light source(30), a continuous flow cell part(40), an optical separation part(50), and a contamination level classification part(60). The constant pressure pump supplies an organic solvent. The constant temperature chamber chemically stabilizes the organic solvent. The infrared light source radiates infrared light. The continuous flow cell part radiates the infrared light to the organic solvent. The optical separation part separates a wavelength of the infrared light. The contamination level classification part classifies a contamination level of the organic solvent.
