A menu picture display method of a combo-system is provided to efficiently display a menu picture including a full file name by adjusting a display condition in the combo-system. It is checked whether there is a key operation signal for requesting a menu picture which includes a file name recorded on an optical disk or a hard disk(206). If there is the key operation signal, information of the file name recorded on the optical disk or the hard disk is extracted(208). It is checked whether a full file name can be displayed on the menu picture in accordance with the extracted information(210). A display condition of the full file name is adjusted if the full file name can not be displayed on the menu picture(212). The full file name is adjusted in accordance with the adjusted display condition and the menu picture is displayed on a screen(214).
