A recording method in a DVD(Digital Versatile Disk) recording/reproducing system is provided to allow a user to confirm recording association information once more before recording is started by displaying source information and recording association DVD setup information of a recording object program in which the recording is requested by the user. When power is turned on, a microcomputer waits for a user to press a key and receives a key input signal(S200,S202). The microcomputer confirms source information and DVD recording association setup information of recording object multimedia data according to the recording key input signal. The microcomputer displays the source information and the DVD recording association setup information of the recording object multimedia data on a screen through an OSD(On Screen Display)(S206). When the user, who confirms the recording object source information and the setup information, presses a confirmation key, the microcomputer records data(S208,S210).
