A gas mixing device of an exhaust gas recirculation apparatus is provided to flow re-circulated exhaust gas to an outside of a distributor having a wave shape and introduce air to an inside of the distributor to be sufficiently mixed with each other by forming vortex. A gas mixing device of an exhaust gas recirculation apparatus is installed between an intake pipe(11) and an intake manifold(13) where intake air is introduced and passed through. The gas mixing device includes a mixing pipe(15) where re-circulated exhaust gas is introduced, and a distributor(17) to control the flow of the intake air. The mixing pipe has an intake hole(19) so that the re-circulation exhaust gas is introduced into the mixing pipe. The intake hole is formed on an outer surface of the mixing pipe at an angle such that a tangential direction with respect to the outer surface of the mixing pipe is out of the central area of the mixing pipe. The inclination of the intake hole is for the re-circulation exhaust gas to form a vortex within the mixing pipe. The mixing pipe has a coupling step(21) to load the distributor. The distributor has a flange(23) corresponding to the coupling step.
