A stand for protecting tilt of a flat display device is provided to prevent shaking and realize stable installation by preventing the flat display device from tilting to a front side, as the stand holds a back cover of the flat display device. A bottom plate(31) is firmly placed on the ground. A body(32) is extended to an upper direction from an upper side of the bottom plate. A combination plate(33) combines with a front mask(21) by being projected from a front upper part of the body. A supporting member(40) is hung to a hanging sill(23) formed in the back cover(22) by being embedded in the body and projecting an upper end. The supporting member comprises a projection hung to the projection sill, an adjusting plate having a tooth row, a guide plate including a guide groove to expose the tooth row, and a gear moving up/down the adjusting plate by engaging with the tooth row.
