A system and a method for processing a broadcasting image are provided to offer a differential broadcasting service to a viewer by composing a broadcasting image processing server which processes a broadcasting image based on a broadcasting program received in a mobile communication terminal of the viewer and a viewer image set by the viewer and retransmits the processed and generated memorial image to the mobile communication terminal. A mobile communication terminal(100) receives wireless Internet broadcasting through a mobile communication network(500) or receives a certain broadcasting program through a broadcasting network(200), and requests a broadcasting event on the basis of a broadcasting image based on the broadcasting program. A broadcasting image processing server(400) performs an image process for synthesizing the broadcasting image with a viewer image set by a viewer of the corresponding mobile communication terminal(100) in response to the request of the event, and retransmits a memorial image generated by the image process to the mobile communication terminal(100).
