A hinge assembly and a mobile appliance having the same are provided to realize a small-sized mobile appliance by enabling the mobile appliance to be installed even in a narrow space as compared with the related rotary-type hinge assembly. A sliding unit(110) is slidably installed in the first target. A rotation unit is rotatably installed in the sliding unit, and is coupled with the second target. The sliding unit(110) includes a sliding body and the first coupling member used to couple the sliding unit to the first target. A sliding body(103) is bent with a predetermined curvature. The sliding body is provided with the first coupling hole used to install the first coupling member and the second coupling hole used to install the rotation unit. The first coupling part is protruded from the sliding body. The first coupling member includes the first elastic member inserted into the first coupling hole, and a guide protrusion elastically supported on both end terminals of the first elastic member, and protruded to the outside of the sliding body. |
