摘要 The sterile drape has an exterior surface adjacent to a sterile field for performing surgical procedure. The interior surface of the drape has a cavity for mounting non-sterile region of robotic surgical system. A disposable sterile adaptor interfaces between the non-sterile manipulator arm of robotic surgical system and surgical instrument (20) in the sterile field by transmitting mechanical and electrical signals. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) robotic surgical system; and (2) connection method of surgical instrument in manipulator arm of telerobotic surgical system.
