The container has a body (2) defining an interior volume for containing water and comprising a base (21) with an internal surface (21A) covered by an insulating coating e.g. enameled paint. The base has a housing (23) for permitting the passage of a conductor unit (3), where the housing is provided with a seal (7) for sealing of the body. The conductor unit is in contact with the internal surface of the base and electrically connected to a ground connection unit (5). An independent claim is also included for a method of fabricating a domestic water container.
