A composition comprising natural herb extracts is provided to lower blood sugar by activating enzymes relating to intracellular glucose metabolism, thereby being used for treating patients suffering from diabetes. The composition for lowering blood sugar comprises an extract of Cordyceps militaris and at least one selected from the group consisting of an extract of buck wheat, an extract of Artemisia capillaris and an extract of Cinnamomi cortex. In the composition, the weight ratio of the extract of vegetable worms, the extract of buck wheat, the extract of Artemisia capillaris and the extract of Cinnamomi cortex is 4-8:0.5-1.7:0.8-2.1:1-2.2. |
