<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-glare film for sufficiently suppressing a deterioration of visibility due to whitening by having an excellent anti-glare function, and to apply the anti-glare film for an image display device. <P>SOLUTION: The anti-glare film forms irregularity on the surface. The reflectance of a reflection angle of 30 degrees is 2% or less for incident light 13 at an incident angle of 30 degrees, and the reflectance of a reflection angle of 40 degrees is 0.003% or less. The anti-glare film satisfies any one of the following (1) to (5): (1) 50-150 projections exist in a region of 200×200 μm. (2) When heights of each point on an irregularity face are expressed in a histogram, the peak exists in a range within ±20% by centering an intermediate point between the maximum point and the minimum point. (3) The mean average height Pa of the surface is 0.08-0.15 μm. (4) The maximum cross sectional height Pt of the surface is 0.4-0.9 μm. (5) When Voronoi division of the film surface is performed by regarding the vertex of the projection as a mother point, a polygonal average area is 300-1,000 μm<SP>2</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
