<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-height and compact card connector which has a small parts number and a simple structure of a changeover mechanism to change over insertion paths of cards based on the dimensions of the widths of a first card having a larger width and thickness and a second card having a smaller width and thickness. <P>SOLUTION: The changeover mechanism 40 in the card connector 100 is constituted of a guide plate 41 upward and downward swingable like a seesaw, a pressing member 61 to press the depth side in the card insertion direction of the guide plate 41 and make the front side in the card insertion direction of the guide plate 41 to be positioned upward, and a guide spring 42 which is attached inward and outward displaceably to a housing 20 and has a pressing part 42d located above the front side in the card insertion direction of the guide plate 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
