<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water section member which ensures draining performance by providing the entire upper surface thereof with hydrophilic properties, and exerts excellent anti-fouling property. <P>SOLUTION: The surface of a material of the water section member having a water contact angle with respect to a mirror surface, of 60 degrees or more and less than 75 degrees, is formed into irregularity such that a mean interval Sm between pits and projections is set to 20 to 100 μm and that a ten point mean surface roughness Rz is set to 8 to 70 μm. Then when 10 arbitrary locations in a measuring range of 5 μm square on a surface on a projection out of the pits and projections, are measured by a laser microscope by setting a resolution in a transverse and longitudinal (X-Y) direction to 0.044 μm, and a resolution in a height (Z) direction to 0.01 μm, a ratio of a surface area to an area of the measured location as viewed in plan, is equal to 1.2 or more and 2.5 or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
