PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trigger switch having small number of components, which can be easily assembled and disassembled, capable of reducing its size. SOLUTION: Components of the trigger switch 30 mounted on a power tool 10 is composed of a housing 36 composed of a left housing 361 and a right housing 362, a switching base plate 39 contained in the housing 36, and a trigger part 38 provided in free sliding movement to and from the housing 36.
