PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control an unmanned vehicle from unknown points by storing attitude angle and azimuth when the unmanned vehicle stops, reading them at the time of re-start, to be used for initial attitude angle and initial azimuth. SOLUTION: In the initial azimuth setting method for the unmanned vehicle, the attitude angle 10a and azimuth 11a of the unmanned vehicle 1 when the vehicle stops are stored in stopping the unmanned vehicle 1, they are read at the time of re-starting the unmanned vehicle 1, and used as the initial attitude angle 10 and initial azimuth 11.
